The Big Debate?

We are a small group of people who came together by the grace of God. Together we have: read, studied, and practiced the Bible.

We are not debaters, nor teachers or preachers, but we are just people who found some interesting things in our 30-40 years of study etc.. We thought we would share them with those who might care to know. Those whose minds are open to trying the “hail Mary” play. Those who, maybe, have tried everything else.

These days, many are searching for God. Soon, we pray, He will witness with someone and we will know “His people”. Until then all we can do is share information and keep trying.

“Keeping Commandments” seems to be the big debate. As we see it, keeping Commandments is a choice. God made His Law for Him. It is His Law and our choice is, do we want to live under His Law or die under our own?

You see God really does love us. He didn’t have to make sure we received His Law. He could have denied us the Life His Law gives. Love, yeah, you’ve heard it all before. But we aren’t talking about the type of love you use when you describe your favorite flavor of ice cream.

God stood upon the mount and spoke His Commandments, His Word.

Then God, with His own finger, wrote the Ten Commandments, His Word.

The He did something that will boggle your mind. He took His Word, had Him born through a woman and calls Him Jesus. Jesus is “The Word”, and that’s how The Law, God’s Law was hung on the cross.

So The Ten Commandments is Jesus, in spirit, in word, and in flesh. Our Trinity. Three, yet one. Our God is One. The Word (Commandments).

More to the heart of the matter: Our Founding Fathers saw them so important, that God’s Word was engraved in many of our capital buildings. They set our gate at Ellis Island with The Commandments. They opened schools where the Bible could be read and discussed.

This land was blessed because of the work of our Founding Fathers. But they didn’t quit there. They went on to grace us with the ultimate Constitution (God’s providence?). So if we fail now it is only ourselves to blame. To “keep” the Commandments and forsake not the law of our Mother, should be our goal of life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness and to honor our Mother and Father.

So the most important choice one has in this lifetime is whether or not you will cling, keep, abide in truth, The Commandments.

Psalms 119:151 Thou art near, O Lord; and all thy commandments are truth.

Psalms 119:142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.

Let’s not argue with those who won’t keep the Commandments, after all, they, too, have a right to choose. Each in their own time, maybe we all will come to repentance, real repentance.

Amen

The Spoken Word, Written Word, and Word Made Flesh of God

Exodus 20:1 And God spake all these words, saying,

2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

13 Thou shalt not kill.

14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.

15 Thou shalt not steal.

16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.

Will We Suffer the Plagues

It is so important that we seek the wisdom of God for we are facing some really trying times. We are being attacked from every possible angle. Especially with the Coronovirus scare going on right now.

Psalms 91:9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

Jesus referred us to The Father for reasons we may not understand but He knew we would need God’s wisdom to show us our way. Just as Jesus followed The Father, so shall we. This is why:

Be prepared for anything at anytime and KNOW The Word/Jesus.

Protect your home and family and property by using the wisdom of God in Deut. 6:8-9

Psalms 119:151
Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth.

Jesus is The Word, John 1:1-5
The Word God spoke: Exodus 20:1
The Word God wrote: Deuteronomy 4:13
and The Word God made flesh John 1:14. He is our example of The Trinity. He is The Law that hung on the cross and The Law that is written in the heart.
Psalms 40:7
Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me
Hebrews 10:7
Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

With obedience to The Father in Deut.6:8-9, The Father anoints us with His Word, putting us in His Son, The Holy Spirit.

Build up the body of Christ by ‘putting on’ The Lord. Cling to, dwell in the law (Ten Commandments) and testimony (Sermon on the Mount). We know His voice.

His words are spirit and they are life. Hear Him. Prepare for your future and the life of your loved ones. As Paul tells us, “put on Jesus.” Cling to, dwell in the Truth, in life. Learn of the armour of God and grow strong in our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Spirit of God, the Ten Commandments, used to be everywhere across America, not any more. Few homes will contain the precious Word of God. Our schools, our court houses and public property have mostly removed the Commandments. God’s Word will preserve us if we apply them once again across our Country. Each of us, on our property, our loved ones, on our all. He never left us, we left Him. Surround your world in Light.

We are to serve Him with all that we are, heart, mind and soul. Are you one of His? When you are powerless, power up IN Jesus. He is still with us, will we let them remove Him even from our families? May God go with us all in accordance with His law, His love. Cling to the Truth, dwell in Him. Protect your family!!! He always shows us a way out of our troubles. Let’s seek His wisdom in all our problems.

Always use K.J.V. if possible. Jesus ascended to The Father, will we follow Him?

The Spirit?

Many wonder what ‘the spirit’ is. How are we to let ‘the spirit’ lead us? If we reap what we sow, what are we sowing? We give money, clothes, anything we have a little extra of. But none of that is sowing of ‘the spirit’.

My words are spirit and they are life, John 6:63. That is something we were told by Jesus. Jesus sent people to preach the gospel. But Jesus also sent us to The Father in the Sermon on the Mount, knowing we would need to strengthen ourselves. Jesus’ words are spirit, and The Father’s word is also spirit.

The Father also gives us spirit that we need to spread but not by preaching, but another way that would help to preserve us (Deut. 6:8-9, 6:24.

If we sow money, we reap money etc., maybe that is why Christians have prospered. If we want ‘the spirit’ to lead us, to spread across our country, then shouldn’t we spread The Word of our God, our Ten Commandments. And if you see Jesus as God, which He is, then spread His Word, the Sermon on the Mount as well.

Maybe then our country would have a better spirit than looking forward to all the hate, stealing, destruction, and death. We can fight death with life by passing on the words of life. Any word from the Holy Book is Holy Spirit.

Are America’s Holidays Christian, or Pagan?

The Holidays Christians keep are not bad. All things have a beginning. God asks us to “keep” His Word, His feasts, so we do that then can we celebrate our Holidays. God is first in all things.

Halloween, Christmas, Easter, etc. all of them have great ideas, great premises. It might do well to clean them up and allow the children to dress-up and celebrate our Holidays. This of allowing children to dress like demons, vampires etc. is not good. We need to remember that which we emmulate, is that which we become.

Remember in school they would have us dress like Greeks or whatever the lesson was? It is like putting yourself in another’s shoes. So when you dress your child for Halloween, dress them in what they or you want them to be like.

Celebrating a mom or dad, or a president, maybe the Founding Fathers or any one they see as a hero isn’t bad. Heaven knows we need more heroes these days. And by dressing them up as one they admire, your child can learn what made them so great. Benefits of defending their choices, teaching them how to research, allowing them to seek the good. This is another case of it’s not what you do, but why/how you do it.

Before you claim that we shouldn’t do anything that God hasn’t commanded, remember, God didn’t command the ‘Festival of Lights,’ that Jesus attended. He also didn’t command men to remember their anniversaries. How well do you think that would go over? Do you refuse your child their birthday party because those in the Scriptures didn’t turn out so well (except one of course)?

We overcome evil with good. We don’t ignore it, nor pretend it doesn’t exist. We clean it up by overcoming it, so we teach the children to dress/act as their hero. As far as some believing that Halloween is the night that the dead have interaction with the living, think about it, can that be so bad? Instead of evil corrupting the child, can it not be that a child might be able to do something that reminds them of one they lost? To keep a memory alive. How many of us would like to say one more thing, to see them one more time or to hold our deceased loved one? Would you like to connect to your love one even though they are no longer with us.

We don’t overcome a bad habit by pretending it doesn’t exist but by gaining control over it.

Everything can be traced back to whenever as if it matters. Nothing new under the sun. How one thought about it, or how they did it doesn’t matter, it is what you do and how you think of it and how you teach it.

Jesus nor the Bible doesn’t say we can’t celebrate any holiday or birthday, it simply tells us to put God first. So if you have done His holidays, or feast days as He calls them, then do yours. Don’t let the party poopers bring down anything. Lift everything up, bring in the good and enjoy life. Go ahead bring a smile on that face covered in chocolate, just remind them to brush before bed. Those “IN” our Lord Jesus Christ should have no fear. God has a reason for all creation, even the mosquitoes. Open your door, your heart, your life to those who need to see an act of kindnes, a connection to your neighbours and the life of a true Christian.

Our Bible, a History Book?

It has been said that the Bible is just a history book. That might be correct. But by receiving the Bible we can see why, what, when, and where things went wrong, as well as who was to blame. We can look upon that Book and see things that we can change. Like they say, hindsight is 20/20.

So, do we just believe it is all over, done away with, absolutely out of our hands? Or do we realize history repeats itself? By reading and learning the Bible, we can infer the ending, whether it’s of allowing our humanity to overcome us, or by accepting God’s wisdom and help.

Revelations shows us no real ending. That’s because, like many things, that ending is a reflection of our beliefs. The end is up to our actions, beliefs, and the very talent given us to change human nature.

Do we interpret the Bible literally or spiritually? How about we take it according to our understanding? Would that be such a bad idea? Every word normally has more than one definition. So, if we just understand it according to our own personal levels, we all would probably have answers that we can all discuss. It is called a debate, where you state where you are, another brings up what they know and understand, then we get to compare what we know to what went wrong, by whom, where, why etc..

Church shouldn’t be lectures without a following debate or discussion. We aren’t in a hierarchy in the Body of Christ. There isn’t a head honcho to listen to other than God Almighty. Picture a family reading the Bible. There are several points found: a dad’s view, mom’s, children, and when they are finished, they discuss what they got from those Scriptures. At least that’s what would happen in an ideal setting. That is, however, what a good church should be. Family discovering the views of each member in order to discover the truth of the Scriptures. Men’s, women’s and children’s point of view. All should be heard because any one of them can shed more light on what you think you know. As the Apostles wrote, ‘iron sharpens iron’.

How and why did Israel fall, or how, why, when did the Christians’ fail? We can ask God and search the Scriptures for our answers. Most of all, what did God do when His people failed Him? And what can we expect if we continue on the path this world is going?

We don’t have to go through the Tribulation. We don’t have to let evil overtake us. We just have to learn and look upon the Scriptures with a 20/20 vision. Life can and will be great when we begin to seek one another’s view. There appears to be too many teachers and never enough students.

People seem to live on fear. Somehow they want tribulation, drama, etc. around. They want blood, they want anyone who isn’t like them to just go away, hoping someone else will do away with them. The hate of people, speech, ethnicities, everything seems to have something that will ‘trigger’ someone else. They don’t realize that there are different parts of the body and not all parts function in the same manner.

Think about it, we could end up in Paradise, or hell. It’s all our choice. If it is paradise that we wish to see, then dwell in the love of The Father and The Son by “keeping” the law (Ten Commandments) and testimony (Sermon on the Mount), as directed by God in Deut.6:8-9. May we all one day find Paradise.

The Ultimate Truth

If ultimate truth comes from God, it can never change because God never changes, and it can never be wrong because God is never wrong. The only way you will ever know the truth of God is to personally know Jesus, who is the true savior. Come to know Jesus personally today and experience first-hand THE truth that will set you free!

Jesus is The Word, John 1:1-5
The Word God spoke: Exodus 20:1
The Word God wrote: Deuteronomy 4:13
and The Word God made flesh John 1:14. He is our example of The Trinity. He is The Law that hung on the cross and The Law written upon the heart.

Psalms 40:7
Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,

Hebrews 10:7
Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

We seek the wisdom of The Father to learn God’s will (Deut.6:8-9). In most every book of the Bible we are taught to “keep” the Commandments. The Father wants us all in His Son. Show some obedience to God and bind The Word, spoken, written, and made flesh and place all your loved ones in Him. Let Him teach, guide, and help all who trust in Him. May He go with us all.

Take Away All Sickness

Deuteronomy 7:15
And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.

Exodus 15:26
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

It is with the wisdom of The Father we are told how to avoid diseases. If we obey Him in Deut. 6:8-9 and give heed to His voice by “keeping” the Ten Commandments as directed that we can avoid these problems.

If you believe in The Father and The Son, then give heed to the Sermon on the Mount as well. “Keep” both the law and testimony. For from the heart the mouth speaks. Who’s voice will you give ear to?

America’s Light

So we are told that our Constitution is a living document and it is subject to change. Or, maybe we need to see it a different way. Maybe, we should see it as a light we all live by. And that light should be trimmed to shine brighter all across the land of America.

That would mean that the Constitution stands as it is. We do not change it, add to it or take from it, no more than we would our Father’s Law. But all the laws, rules and regulations created since our founding, is what should go. What was good for people a hundred years ago may not even be necessary today.

We do not break our foundation. We do not take and destroy what we have spent years building our lives on. If we do destroy that foundation–even if it seems like a little difference in opinion–, then our world will be turned upside down. That little crack in America’s foundation will cause our Great nation to fall.

Our Father counseled us to trim our light, true, but He also said to “keep” His Commandments and forsake not the law of your Mother. This means, yeah, what mankind establishes needs renewed every so often, but God gave us rules to live by and a Constitution that set us up as a free people.

If this great Nation, the only one like it, is to survive then we must stand our ground on both our Spiritual and Physical foundation. We are a people who believe in freedom, liberty and all the good stuff, and we used to have a God that prospered, kept and provided for us.

Jesus is The Word, John 1:1-5
The Word God spoke: Exodus 20:1
The Word God wrote: Deuteronomy 4:13
and The Word God made flesh John 1:14. He is our example of The Trinity.

Yes, those Ten Commandments is Jesus. When God tells us in Deut.6:8-9 to bind and wear His Word He is placing us in His Son, Jesus.

Jesus keeps the custom by asking those who love Him to “keep” His Words even as He kept His Father’s. So if you obey God, and love Jesus, one would “keep” both the law (Ten Commandments) and the testimony (Sermon on the Mount) as instructed in Deut.. He wants to be in this country, but now it is up to the individual.

That God has been removed from our public property, schools, court rooms etc.. There is more private property than government. Maybe we can show Him how much we want Him by letting Him see, we know Him, and we know His voice. If we will stand for God, then He will stand for us. We defend that which we believe in. Isn’t that our God and our Country?

What will Americans choose to do? Roll with the flow, or stand their ground? That choice is yours.

One more law could be the straw that broke the camel’s back, or maybe the tail that took down the saints.
