The Big Debate?

We are a small group of people who came together by the grace of God. Together we have: read, studied, and practiced the Bible.

We are not debaters, nor teachers or preachers, but we are just people who found some interesting things in our 30-40 years of study etc.. We thought we would share them with those who might care to know. Those whose minds are open to trying the “hail Mary” play. Those who, maybe, have tried everything else.

These days, many are searching for God. Soon, we pray, He will witness with someone and we will know “His people”. Until then all we can do is share information and keep trying.

“Keeping Commandments” seems to be the big debate. As we see it, keeping Commandments is a choice. God made His Law for Him. It is His Law and our choice is, do we want to live under His Law or die under our own?

You see God really does love us. He didn’t have to make sure we received His Law. He could have denied us the Life His Law gives. Love, yeah, you’ve heard it all before. But we aren’t talking about the type of love you use when you describe your favorite flavor of ice cream.

God stood upon the mount and spoke His Commandments, His Word.

Then God, with His own finger, wrote the Ten Commandments, His Word.

The He did something that will boggle your mind. He took His Word, had Him born through a woman and calls Him Jesus. Jesus is “The Word”, and that’s how The Law, God’s Law was hung on the cross.

So The Ten Commandments is Jesus, in spirit, in word, and in flesh. Our Trinity. Three, yet one. Our God is One. The Word (Commandments).

More to the heart of the matter: Our Founding Fathers saw them so important, that God’s Word was engraved in many of our capital buildings. They set our gate at Ellis Island with The Commandments. They opened schools where the Bible could be read and discussed.

This land was blessed because of the work of our Founding Fathers. But they didn’t quit there. They went on to grace us with the ultimate Constitution (God’s providence?). So if we fail now it is only ourselves to blame. To “keep” the Commandments and forsake not the law of our Mother, should be our goal of life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness and to honor our Mother and Father.

So the most important choice one has in this lifetime is whether or not you will cling, keep, abide in truth, The Commandments.

Psalms 119:151 Thou art near, O Lord; and all thy commandments are truth.

Psalms 119:142 Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.

Let’s not argue with those who won’t keep the Commandments, after all, they, too, have a right to choose. Each in their own time, maybe we all will come to repentance, real repentance.

Amen

The Spoken Word, Written Word, and Word Made Flesh of God

Exodus 20:1 And God spake all these words, saying,

2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

13 Thou shalt not kill.

14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.

15 Thou shalt not steal.

16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.

As it was mentioned in the comments, this is something that I think should be well-known.

The Ultimate Truth

If ultimate truth comes from God, it can never change because God never changes, and it can never be wrong because God is never wrong. The only way you will ever know the truth of God is to personally know Jesus, who is the true savior. Come to know Jesus personally today and experience first-hand THE truth that will set you free!

Jesus is The Word, John 1:1-5
The Word God spoke: Exodus 20:1
The Word God wrote: Deuteronomy 4:13
and The Word God made flesh John 1:14. He is our example of The Trinity. He is The Law that hung on the cross and The Law written upon the heart.

Psalms 40:7
Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,

Hebrews 10:7
Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

We seek the wisdom of The Father to learn God’s will (Deut.6:8-9). In most every book of the Bible we are taught to “keep” the Commandments. The Father wants us all in His Son. Show some obedience to God and bind The Word, spoken, written, and made flesh and place all your loved ones in Him. Let Him teach, guide, and help all who trust in Him. May He go with us all.

Take Away All Sickness

Deuteronomy 7:15
And the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.

Exodus 15:26
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

It is with the wisdom of The Father we are told how to avoid diseases. If we obey Him in Deut. 6:8-9 and give heed to His voice by “keeping” the Ten Commandments as directed that we can avoid these problems.

If you believe in The Father and The Son, then give heed to the Sermon on the Mount as well. “Keep” both the law and testimony. For from the heart the mouth speaks. Who’s voice will you give ear to?

America’s Light

So we are told that our Constitution is a living document and it is subject to change. Or, maybe we need to see it a different way. Maybe, we should see it as a light we all live by. And that light should be trimmed to shine brighter all across the land of America.

That would mean that the Constitution stands as it is. We do not change it, add to it or take from it, no more than we would our Father’s Law. But all the laws, rules and regulations created since our founding, is what should go. What was good for people a hundred years ago may not even be necessary today.

We do not break our foundation. We do not take and destroy what we have spent years building our lives on. If we do destroy that foundation–even if it seems like a little difference in opinion–, then our world will be turned upside down. That little crack in America’s foundation will cause our Great nation to fall.

Our Father counseled us to trim our light, true, but He also said to “keep” His Commandments and forsake not the law of your Mother. This means, yeah, what mankind establishes needs renewed every so often, but God gave us rules to live by and a Constitution that set us up as a free people.

If this great Nation, the only one like it, is to survive then we must stand our ground on both our Spiritual and Physical foundation. We are a people who believe in freedom, liberty and all the good stuff, and we used to have a God that prospered, kept and provided for us.

Jesus is The Word, John 1:1-5
The Word God spoke: Exodus 20:1
The Word God wrote: Deuteronomy 4:13
and The Word God made flesh John 1:14. He is our example of The Trinity.

Yes, those Ten Commandments is Jesus. When God tells us in Deut.6:8-9 to bind and wear His Word He is placing us in His Son, Jesus.

Jesus keeps the custom by asking those who love Him to “keep” His Words even as He kept His Father’s. So if you obey God, and love Jesus, one would “keep” both the law (Ten Commandments) and the testimony (Sermon on the Mount) as instructed in Deut.. He wants to be in this country, but now it is up to the individual.

That God has been removed from our public property, schools, court rooms etc.. There is more private property than government. Maybe we can show Him how much we want Him by letting Him see, we know Him, and we know His voice. If we will stand for God, then He will stand for us. We defend that which we believe in. Isn’t that our God and our Country?

What will Americans choose to do? Roll with the flow, or stand their ground? That choice is yours.

One more law could be the straw that broke the camel’s back, or maybe the tail that took down the saints.

All For Free?

People are declaring that America should provide everything for others that they can’t afford to do for their own families. America is rich, we can afford it, that kind of attitude. Many Americans can’t afford health care, a home. Some can’t even afford to feed their own families, let alone all those who come to America thinking they can get it all for free.

All America has that others refuse to apply or to believe in is our God. Our God has prospered this nation. And our faith in Him has allowed many to get all life has to offer. What one doesn’t have, another does and they simply supply each other with what they need.

America now needs to acknowledge that it is our God that has prospered America. Many have fought to remove our God from this land, and it has only made it to where we too are beginning to struggle. The preservation, the life, of America is our God’s work.

Who is America’s God? How can we get God to bless other nations as He has America? Well it isn’t our money, or our smarts. It isn’t any thing we can do except to show people who America’s God really is. Hint: it isn’t what you see in the mirror either, nor any government of man.

Many Americans believe in Jesus. Jesus is The Word, John 1:1-5. The Word God spoke upon the mount. The Word God wrote with His own finger. The Word God made flesh, that hung on the cross and is written in the heart of His people. Yep, that would be the Ten Commandments that has been removed from most public property.

In God’s wisdom, He teaches us to apply The Word, or Jesus, His way that we may be blessed. That would be in Deut.6:9-8.

If anyone is coming to America for their hope then they should realize one thing. We are just like you. We too need hope. Coming here will not do you any good. Seek God, the Creator of our world. It is He who can teach all who seek Him how to prosper and provide us all with what money cannot buy.

The Electoral College

There seems to be a push from some in the United States to destroy the Electoral College. Why is this? Is the popular vote so much more important? That truly depends on who you ask. For the sake of illustrating the two arguments, let’s start with a hypothetical.

Let’s picture a street that votes for dinner every night. On this street are ten buildings, and every legal occupant, no guests or visitors, can vote for the meal. The results are binding on the whole street, so if somebody doesn’t vote, they still have to follow the wishes of the rest of the street. The ten buildings are three duplexes, two apartment buildings, and the last five are single family homes.

Let’s take a closer look at the make up of this street. In each of the duplexes, is on single person per unit. One of the single family homes contains an elderly couple, and another is empty. There are families in the last three single family homes. Two are families of four, with three toddlers between them, and the last houses your family. The two apartment buildings hold ten families each, with only one that holds four toddlers.

Now its coming close to dinner time, therefore it’s time to vote. The choices are: hamburgers, pizza, or Mexican food. Let’s see how the votes are cast. Well, the duplexes, as well as the elderly couple, have voted for hamburgers. Your family as well as the other two in the single family homes, have voted for pizza. And the two apartment buildings have, once again, voted unanimously for Mexican food.

What’s for dinner? That depends on whether this hypothetical street uses an electoral college system, or the popular vote to decide. If you use the popular vote system, then those two apartment buildings will rule dinner time all the time. They have a history of voting unanimously. Therefore, this night it’s Mexican, tomorrow it might be sushi, or Chinese. Whatever the apartment buildings vote for, is what everyone will eat. Now, knowing this, will the rest of the street vote? Knowing that it doesn’t matter what they vote for, the apartments will decide dinner, many will quit voting. Thus the whole street is ruled by those who live in only two buildings.

But if we have an electoral system on the street, then the voting becomes more fair. Let’s give two votes to each duplex, three votes to each apartment building, and one vote a piece to the single family homes. Now, the apartment buildings will not be ruling the street. This night the street has hamburgers, but tomorrow, it might be home cooking, sandwiches, a street-wide picnic, it all depends on which gets the most electoral votes. And, theoretically, everyone knows that their vote counts, for each building must have at least one vote for their electoral vote to register.

That’s why our Founding Fathers encouraged the electoral college. If they hadn’t then Virginia, as funny as that seems to us these days, would have ruled over everyone else. Delaware didn’t want to have to follow Virginia’s say at all times. Fast forward to 2020, and we have the same problem. New York, California, Rhode Island, and Illinois all have the highest populations in our Country. Do you want those states telling the rest of our Nation how to live? These states have their ways of doing things, but those things are decidedly more of an urban way of doing things.

Just remember, that unless you live in one of the four states that are the most populous, losing the electoral college will devastate the choices of eighty percent of the nation’s voting districts. Look at Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s congressional run victory. Only four percent of her voting district voted. And she has the lowest approval rating in her district. No one should have to worry about something like this on a national stage.

Now, that’s just our thinking on this thing. Let us know where you’re coming from in the comments below. Just keep it civil, okay?

Saved By Grace?

Saved by Grace, His grace, His actions, His love. Oh so right, we are saved by grace. BUT there is more to the story. If we die, we go to heaven, whatever one believes is good with us. BUT again, what happens to those we leave behind? What about our children, grandchildren, all we know and love? What will happen to our country? Will the world overtake us? Jesus warned us not to let that happen.

The war on if one is to “keep” the law or rely on grace, is totally overdone. If one can get past themselves, their fears or even the ego, then we can accept the fact that we need help. Jesus died on that cross to save the world, not just you or me. He looked forward to what this world would face and it sadden Him.

God knows the beginning from the end. Jesus saw the end and provided us a way to also see the future. We can provide for ours the way He did for His.

We seek the wisdom, the path, the way Jesus chose, The Father’s instructions. Jesus kept The Father’s law, so should we? And what about Paul telling us we don’t need to observe the law?

God’s law is the Ten Commandments, The Father Himself spoke, wrote, and then made His Word flesh. Three times He gave us His law. We do need to “keep” it in the manner He instructs us in Deut.6:8-9. And since we do as we see our Father do, wouldn’t we also keep that part of the laws directed for the children of God to the best of our ability?

If one can seek The Father’s wisdom, and use it as such, then each of us will fulfill a part of the law according to the abilities given to each individual. We are part of the body of Jesus Christ and we, on our own, are not responsible to fulfill the law. Only fulfill the part you are able to do or what pertains to you.

God gave directions for the kings, priests, judges etc. and the children. As we grow we will find that He trains us according to His will. We find out who we are in Jesus.

Yes, grace will get you to your destination. But think ahead, is there not wisdom to help preserve, protect those who are left behind when you leave? And really, who wants to arrive to Paradise as a pauper?

As this world falls apart, and our enemies surround us, is there nothing we can do to help those who will be left after we have gone? Whose wisdom should we seek, who’s council? Mankind has not found a solution to this world’s woes, can we not seek higher wisdom?

And for those who want to trust in God: learn to “keep” the Commandments. Those who love Jesus, pass that love on as Jesus tells all who love Him to “keep” His Word (Sermon on the Mount) just as He kept His Father’s. So take the Ten Commandments, and Sermon on the Mount, and learn to grow strong in our Lord. May we all stand to see the day of our Lord as we are made aware of the ways of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Best Version

Always stick with King James in the United States. When a book is copyrighted, it is a book that has been written with the imagination/knowledge of the writer. Or maybe it is to take a story and put your twist on it, mixing what you’ve read with what you imagine. Only when one takes what they read and changes it to what they think, can they ‘copyright’ their book, in this case at least.

Most Bibles are under copyright, therefore they are not the original, but only a deceptive copy. When we are told trust no man, are we to trust their ‘word’? Why do almost all copyrighted Bibles start with the King James? They take it apart and add, or subtract what they disagree with and sell it to you as The Word of God, turning it into a fake.

Jesus told us it is free to enter into the Kingdom. If so, should we pay to obey God in Deut.6:8-9? Any Bible claiming to be God’s Word should be free to take any part of that Bible and “keep” it according to the ways of God in Deut. Be it the Ten Commandments, or Sermon on the Mount or any other Scripture God gives us. To keep that which is good. Any Bible that has a copyright makes this instruction illegal.

By using K.J. we can arm ourselves, place prayers in blankets for the homeless, or songs for the lonely etc.. We can give hope, love, peace, and all the things money can’t buy to those in need by using K.J.. God has given each nation one word; you choose which it is for you and yours.
