Fasting might be productive but not as effective as passing The Word. To have The Word from the mouth of The Father,(Ten Commandments) and from the mouth of Jesus (Sermon on the Mount) so when things get tough you can help others and provide them with the law and testimony we will be needing for the coming days.
Help others get in the will of God and the love of Jesus. Surely we can show Them we know their voice, we know our Lord and our Saviour.
Print The Word, bind The Word and pass The Word. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life.
A simple way to make money is by spreading The Word. Not your word, nor part His and part yours. Just His.
Some preach, some sing, but it isn’t pure. We need to spread God’s Word in every form we can. You know these tables that sell books etc. at most every church? Well, why don’t we just learn to spread God’s Word in the same manner. We shouldn’t have to go to the bookstore to buy a Bible. And since they took God out of the schools, why can’t wristbands be made for our children to wear. Just because they take Him out of schools and off most public property doesn’t mean that God can’t go with us and our families wherever we go.
God’s Ten Commandments, the Sermon on the Mount, any Scripture can be bound and worn. His Words are spirit and they are life, so we allow the Spirit to cover America. Either in book form or in bound form, or maybe placed in a picture frame. A lot can be done with the Word of God.
Since there is no law on love, then we can do what God recommended Israel do. After all, we aren’t working for our salvation. That’s already been paid for, we are just trying to show our Heavenly Father that we love Him. We need His help to protect our children, and homes. Simply bind The Word and wear it. As well, bind it and put it upon things.
Don’t get me wrong. Preaching is necessary, and much of the singing is great. But sometimes just the pure Word is needed. Like today, we need His Spirit spread everywhere, before the spirit of the world overtakes us.
Preach it, teach it, sing it, bind it, post it, spread it in every manner one can think of. Sell it, gift it. Get The Word out.
In the world we are hearing contradictions over whether a Christian should live poor, or if it is ok to be rich with money and possessions.
Most of us have priorities in our lives. The things most important to us, that is where our time, money, everything goes. So of course all we have to do to see what is important in one’s life, that is where they will spend their time, money etcetera on. One raising a family will probably invest in their children.
When something is important, real important to someone, they will tend to it with their all. So judge it for yourself. Should a Christian live rich? I would say, as far as most laymen, sure, most are busy bringing up their children. But for those proclaiming the gospel, no. They shouldn’t be preaching it and not doing what they preach. Only when one matures to the point of spreading the gospel, love, peace, joy etc. should one invest in it.
Spreading the Gospel is more important than anything in this world. But one doesn’t need a massive building and multitudes of programs to do so. Isn’t the Gospel, the same as The Word? Or even the Bible. So it doesn’t matter if they spread it with their mouth as in preaching, singing or if they buy Bibles to spread, or even one Scripture at a time, or a widow’s mite. They should invest their all in the effort to spread The Word and caring for our neighbors.
May God go with us all.
